The company started business as Kumho Samjung Dongap Co., joint-corporation on Mar. 2, 1989 of which changed to Kumho Mitsui Doas Co. on Nov. 5, 1991 and finally to Kumho Mitsui Chemicals Inc. since Oct. 1, 1997.
  Sang Gul Lee was inaugurated as the First CEO on Apr.1,1991.
Ki Hyuk Song was installation as second CEO on Jan.1,1997.
Chan Koo Park was take office as third CEO on Feb. 23, 2000.
Sung Ki Kim was sworn in as fourth CEO on Jan. 1, 2002.
Wan Jae Kim was inaugurated as fifth CEO on Nov. 1, 2006.
Chan Koo Park was take office as sixth CEO on Mar.22.2010.
  After Kumho Petrochemicals Co. paid \ 150 million, the first paid-in capital on Mar. 2, 1989, the gross capital increased to ￦4.8 billion by ￦4.65 billion in 1990, to ￦30 billion by ￦25.2 billion in 1991 and to ￦50 billion by ￦20 billion in 1996 anddecreased to ￦35 billion by ￦15 billion reduction since 2005 until now.
 

We started commercial operation of 25,000-ton production facilities in March of 1996, completed extended 5,000-ton construction and initiated commercial operation, constructed additional 20,000-ton
in 2001, increased 5,000-ton by improvement of process in 2004, constructed additional 10,000-ton in 2005,
completed double expansion and currently secured 130,000-ton.
